Bookish & Spice began with a simple frustration.

Finding beautiful special edition books in Australia wasn't easy. Shipping costs were high, options were limited, and too often, the designs didn't feel as special as the stories inside them.

So we set out to change that and create something better.

What started as an idea quickly became a mission: to create affordable, thoughtfully designed special editions that readers in Australia and New Zealand (and worldwide) could access and truly treasure.

What began as a way to connect with readers through merchandise quickly evolved into something more.

As our community grew, so did our understanding of what readers truly wanted: immersive, beautifully designed editions of the stories they love.

That shift led us to focus entirely on special edition books.

Today, every release is created with intention, from the story we choose, to the design details that bring it to life.
