Important Update on September Fantasy Romance Box
We want to let you know what’s been happening with your September Fantasy Romance Box.
Previous Update
You may recall that our printers and shipping partners have had an incredibly difficult season, including two major typhoons in late September. Those storms caused significant delays and disrupted shipping routes for several weeks. Even after the typhoons had passed, progress was much slower than expected and yesterday we finally learnt why.
What Happened?
In late October, there was a serious accident at the Port of Guangzhou Nansha, where our books were waiting to depart. Two ships collided, and one sank. Two crew members are still missing. Our hearts go out to their families and everyone affected by this tragedy.
Because of the accident, the port had to pause and redirect much of its work, causing major delays for vessels waiting to leave, including the shipment containing our September edition.
We wish we could have updated you sooner, but we were only informed of the event yesterday.
Estimated Shipping for September Box
The port resumed full operations on 6 November, but they were still working through a large backlog.
The good news is that our books finally left the port on 17 November. Your September Fantasy Romance Boxes are now officially on their way to us.
We want to be completely transparent about what comes next. With international customs and the upcoming holiday season, it’s difficult to predict exactly when we’ll receive the books.
At this stage, these editions will not arrive at our warehouse until Christmas or later.
Based on our processing times, taking into account Christmas closures, we estimate these boxes will not ship until January 2026.
We know you’ve been waiting a long time, and we’re truly sorry for the continued delays. Thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and understanding through all these unexpected setbacks. It means more to us than we can say.
