🚨 Sleet Preorder: Production Update
We’ve been working to keep our website as up to date as possible, but we wanted to send out an official update for preorders of the Sleet series.
Production Timeline
These editions have taken longer to produce than we originally planned.
We’ve needed extra time to ensure every feature fits perfectly and lines up as designed.
But even after the final files were ready, unforeseen challenges added further delays.
External Delays
In September, two typhoons struck the region where our printing partner is based, causing major disruptions to their schedule and affecting all our pending special editions.
These severe conditions created a significant backlog, which our printing partners have been diligently working to clear.
In the months that followed, several local holidays contributed to further delays, which means the shipping timeline for the Sleet series is now much later than we first expected.
Expected Shipping for the Sleet Series
We know that waiting can be frustrating, and we sincerely appreciate the patience and support of everyone who has preordered these editions.
Our printing partners continue to work hard to catch up, and we now expect to ship the Sleet series in January 2026.
We’re also taking steps to help prevent similar delays with future editions.
This includes refining workflows for artwork and custom features, and balancing production demands so that our processes run more smoothly and timelines remain predictable, even when unexpected challenges arise.
