Changes/Cancellation of Orders
Mistakes happen. After all, we're all human! We keep orders for 24 hours before they go into production just in case you need to change your order.
Our apparel products are print on demand so once we have sent your item for custom printing and creation, we are not able to action any changes. We recommend checking your order carefully before you checkout. Merchandise sales are final and are not able to be cancelled.

Refunds & Returns
As our apparel items are print on demand, we are unable to accept returns for merchandise items. Please consult our sizing guide and check your order carefully when selecting your items.
Should you receive an item with damage or defect, please contact customer service within 7 days of your delivery at admin@bookishandspice.com.au, including your order number and photos of your item.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at admin@bookishandspice.com.au if the item is defective, damaged or you have received an incorrect item. Please provide photo evidence of the item when you email so that we can evaluate and action as efficiently as possible.
Processing Times
Processing times are flexible but are estimated to be approximately 5-14 days. This time allows for product creation, packing and arranging dispatch.
During busy periods such as sales and holiday periods (Black Friday, Christmas, etc), our processing time on orders will increase. We ask that you factor this in to your expected delivery times and allow at least 21 days for your item to be dispatched, in addition to the expected shipping travel time. We recommend ordering no later than November 20th for Christmas gifting.
Opting for Express postage will not affect your order's processing time.
Shipping Time Guidelines
We endeavour to have your item dispatched as quickly as possible. We have a number of dispatch points for our items including Europe and the US for some items in our apparel line, as well as direct from our warehouse in Brisbane, Australia.
Depending on the items you have ordered, your order may come in multiple deliveries.
Domestic Shipping (Australia)
Shipping usually takes 2-8 days for Australia to Australia shipping, starting from when your package is collected by Australia Post.
Please note: your tracking label may have the status ‘Label Created by Sender’ for up to 4 business days while we await collection by the courier.
International Shipping
For items travelling internationally, shipping can take up to 8 weeks. You will be able to track your parcel via your tracking number provided with your shipping notification.

Duties, Taxes & Tariffs
In order to offer international shipping to a larger range of countries we are
only offering DAP shipping. This means that the buyer assumes responsibility
for all customs/duties/import taxes associated with the shipment when it
arrives in their country.
Items that are undeliverable due to non payment of these charges and are abandoned/returned to us are not eligible for a refund.
Returned to Sender & Lost Orders
If you are concerned about the delivery of your order, or your estimated delivery date has passed, please email customer service at admin@bookishandspice.com.au.
Identifying lost in or incorrectly delivered parcels quickly is imperative if we are to avoid them being returned to us. If your order has been returned to us due to an incorrect address or not being collected from your postal authority, it is the customers responsibility to cover the reshipment fee.
Please use your tracking number to keep a close eye on your orders to avoid any delivery mishaps. Choosing untracked shipping at checkout means that you will not receive a tracking number for your order when it is dispatched and it will be untraceable. Customers assume the risk of using untracked shipping, in the event of non-delivery.
Size Guide
When purchasing apparel, we recommend measuring the size of an item you currently love the fit of, to find your ideal size on our size chart. All measurements on our size chart are measured with the item laying flat.
If your measurements cover two sizes, choose the smaller size for a tighter fit, and the larger size for a looser, comfier fit. Our sizes are designed to be unisex.
