
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER/ MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

We are looking for a Social Media Manager/Management Assistant to maintain our social media accounts and support the leadership team as required.
This is an in-house role, working from our Lawnton, QLD warehouse on a part time to full time basis.
About the Role
- Permanent part time to full time role (3 days a week while training, then 5 days a week)
- In-house role: we require you to work from our warehouse in Lawnton, QLD
- Hours: slightly flexible (not your regular 9-5)
- $30-35 an hour
About You
- You are driven and take initiative
- You are able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- You have a social media background and experience
- You have a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Must be comfortable being in the business social media content
- Having an interest in books, particularly romance, is preferred
- Must be comfortable dealing with NSFW product - art prints/endpages in books
Duties & Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Must be proficient in social media platforms - Instagram, TikTok, Facebook
- Content creation - planning, ideas, filming etc.
- Scheduling static posts and videos
- Creating content aligning with EDM's
- Taking product photos and videos
- Video editing
- Creating informational graphics
- Engaging with followers and content creators - answering DM's, replying to comments on posts etc.
Administrative Support
- Manage the Director's inbox - liaise with printers, suppliers, authors, publishers, artists etc.
- Calendar management
- Contacting authors and artists - initiating the process of creating a special edition book
- Assist management with any overflow
Other Duties
- Assisting at events
- Occasional warehouse assistance
- Must be comfortable receiving deliveries, using the walking stacker (hand-driven forklift)
- Willing to learn EDM's, creating emails, workflows etc.
